new.gearforsports.com is created with Vanguard Theme, the documentation for the theme is here: /Identity Group/Tools/Wordpress Themes, etc/themeforest-3562193-vanguard-business-portfolio-wordpress-theme/Documentation.pdf Vanguard is located on GAR, in gar.gfsiinc.com/httproot/gearforsports/wp-content/themes/Archive new.gearforsports.com uses a child Theme of Vanguard, located at gar.gfsiinc.com/httproot/gearforsports/wp-content/themes/vanguardchild        

All modifications done to Vanguard are for portfolio 4 columns with gutter, all other options will not have modifications.

located in the child theme: template_portfolio4columns.php styles.css files modified in the original Vanguard theme are: custom-fields.php screen.js shortcodes.php skin.php  

various http links must be updated from new.gearsforsports.com to gearforsports.com:

How to create a new page:

  1. refer to page options in Vanguard Documentation
  2. in wordpress, create a new page. For a portfolio page, select the 4columns template.
  3. add a slider if you choose, refer to Vanguard Documentation for LayerSlider capabilities.
  4. for a portfolio page, first select the main portfolio content category, EX: for campus page, check divisions-campus
  5. then check the filter categories,EX: for campus page, check Brands-Gear for sports, Brands-champion, Brands-Under Armour
  6. publish the page
 

How to create a new portfolio item:

  1. refer to Vanguard Documentation
  2. mark appropriate categories
  3. add link to scene7
  4. add download pdf link
  5. after publishing the item, rearrange the item orders appropriately in: wordpress menu->Portfolio->Reorder
